Watch as the Bible changes from a mystery,

Right before your very eyes, to history.

Not just believing a story you’re told,

Test the fruits of it, seek Him - be bold!

Flames of fire purify His sight of you,

Seeing through the facade you do.

The truth which is the actual self you claim,

No ability to hide those lies or pain.

Lay them down, put it at the cross.

Stop holding on to false hope, it’s truly a loss.

Carrying that weight you hold so tight,

Even your best day, try as you might.

You can’t save you, nor can she or he.

It’s only in Christ, the gift given free.

Call out to Him, right where you are,

So, shine bright, like that bright star.

Yes, you are.
